The Observer

Most people see each other through the outer shell, the physical appearance. Look her hair looks nice, looks he has muscles. His/her smile. His/ her eyes.

As an observer, I would careless of appearance. I notice actions, behavior. I want to know more about people’s history, your weakness, failures, strengths. Past relationships and why it ended. I know I am nosy and everything but that is how I connect. Physically, mentally, and/or spiritually connection with someone.

Maybe that is why I hate small talk. I really don’t share about the weather, politics, sports, school and such.

This is how I choose friends. How I start liking someone…

Then again, the main reason, I probably act this is from this Bible verse:

"The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7 NIV)

As a Christian, I wanted to be more like Christ. So when I read this verse, something hit me and changed my perspective. I used to see things, black and white. But there is color even when sin corrupts our perspective. We are wicked; so we forget that we can still show love to those who are different than us. It doesn’t matter of the religion or color of skin.

This is why I have those blog posts about judge not and such. Because I hate hatred, we show to others. The negativity.

So that is that. Done, explaining myself.

-See ya!! Later folks… 🙂
